5.4-My trip to Browick Road Primary School.

Today the diploma group all wen't on a trip to Browick Road Primary School in Wymondham to do a theatre in education (also known as tie) workshop with the year 2's. To start we had two groups do a performance on donating and charity shops, we then moved off into 3 seperate groups, one group for each class, to start the workshops. Our group consisted of 6 people. Dear Quidenhams Hospice,

                               I am writing to you to let you know how we are doing in our campaign module. Although we didn't get many donations in we have definately raised awareness of your charity, by putting posters, flyers and leaflets up and around the school. We hope this will bring in more donations for you. We visited Browick School a few weeks ago and performed small performances on donating and giving, so it won't just be the teenage generation being informed about your charity, it will also be the younger so you should hopefully get a range of different donations coming in. Although this module is coming to an end, we are still making the effort to collect donations for your charity, we have a room in which they can be dropped off and collected by us at break and lunch. We hope to see you and your donations soon!

5.3.LO3-Letter to Charity Shop

Dear Quidenham Hospice,
                            I am writing to you to let you know the progress we are making with our campaign module. So far we have made posters, flyers and leaflets, to inform the school, help include them in what we are doing, and hopefully recieve some donations of pupils at Wymondham High. Our posters, leaflets and flyers include a bit of information about your charity, your logo and why we would like donations for you.

Artefact-7.12.10

Today in artefact we carried on with the making of our shoes, after covering my template shoe in masking tape, I then had to cut my different parts of it out, making templates made from masking tape which I then put onto card, and drew round, left a 5mm gap for the parts which will make the 'flaps' to stick down and keep the shoe together because it it paper and won't bend without them. I then attempted to stick my shoe together, but gave up, so I will carry that on next lesson.
